- Adjust hours per week, days per week, and paid holidays to match your situation.
- Read off the converted figures — useful for comparing offers across formats.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does the hourly rate change when I adjust holidays?
- Because the yearly salary is the same whether you take 0 or 20 days off, but you work fewer hours when you take more. The hourly equivalent is `yearly ÷ actually-worked hours`, which goes up as PTO goes up.
- Does this account for taxes or deductions?
- No. It's a pure conversion between pay units before tax. After-tax numbers depend on country, marital status, deductions, and many other variables — use a country-specific calculator for that.
- What if I work a non-standard schedule?
- Change Hours per Week and Days per Week. For 4 × 10 hour days set 40 / 4. For 35-hour weeks set 35 / 5. The yearly divisor adjusts.
