Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These terms cover your use of AZ Tools at aztools.app. The site is a free collection of browser-based utilities, offered without an account and without charge. By using it you accept what follows. If you do not accept it, please do not use the site.
Using the tools
You may use the tools for anything lawful, personal or commercial, and you do not need permission to use their output in your own work. What you may not do is interfere with the service: scraping the site at a volume that degrades it for others, attempting to break the hosting or the analytics, or republishing the site as your own are all outside what this permits. There is no account, no registration and no usage quota, so these limits exist only to keep the site working for everyone.
Your data and your content
Every tool runs in your browser, so whatever you paste, type or open is processed on your device. We do not receive it, cannot see it, and claim no rights over it. Nothing you put into a tool grants us a licence to anything, because none of it ever reaches us in the first place. Some tools remember your last input in your browser's local storage for convenience; that copy is yours and clearing your browser data removes it. The privacy policy sets out the small amount of data the site itself does collect.
Ownership of the site
The site's own material — its text, explanations, layout, code and name — belongs to us and is not offered under an open licence. You are welcome to link to any page, quote a reasonable extract with attribution, and use anything a tool produces from your own input. Copying the written content wholesale to build a competing site is not permitted. Third-party libraries used to build the tools remain under their own licences.
No warranty
The tools are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We test them against published specifications and known reference values and fix what we find, but we do not promise that any result is correct, that a tool suits a particular purpose, or that the site will be available without interruption. Do not rely on a result here for anything where being wrong would be costly — financial, legal, medical or safety-critical decisions in particular — without checking it independently.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything it produces, including lost data, lost profits, or consequential loss. Because the tools run on your device and we receive nothing from them, we are in no position to recover data for you: keep your own copy of anything that matters before running it through a tool that transforms it.
Advertising and third-party services
The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense, and uses Google Analytics to understand which tools people find useful. Those services are operated by Google and governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy, not by these terms. Pages may also link to third-party sites; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content. Details of the cookies and identifiers these services use are in the privacy policy.
Changes to the site and to these terms
Tools are added, altered and occasionally retired. A retired tool's address usually redirects to its closest replacement, but we cannot promise any particular tool will remain available. These terms may change too; the date above records the last revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised version. Substantive changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute arising from them falls to the courts of the Republic of Korea. If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, if you believe a tool is producing a wrong result, or if you have a rights concern about content on the site, write to us and we will look into it.
