Rotate PDF Pages
Scanned documents and phone-captured pages often come out sideways, and most readers only rotate the view: close the file and it is lying down again. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so the pages stay upright everywhere — in a reader, in an email attachment, on a printer. Rotate the whole document by 90°, 180° or 270°, or name a page range like `1-3, 5` when only the landscape scans need turning. Rotation is applied on top of whatever the page already had, so a page that was already turned ends up where you expect. The file is opened and rewritten entirely in your browser — it is never uploaded, which matters when the PDF is a contract, a payslip or an ID scan.

How to use
- Drop a PDF onto the box, or click it to pick a file.
- Choose how far to turn the pages: 90° clockwise, 180°, or 270° (that is 90° counter-clockwise).
- Leave the scope on "All pages", or switch to "Page range" and enter something like `1-3, 5` to turn only those.
- Press Rotate, then download the new PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read, rewritten and saved entirely inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab leaves no copy behind.
- Why not just rotate the view in my PDF reader?
- Most readers rotate only what is on screen and do not save it, so the next person to open the file sees it sideways again. This writes the rotation into the document, so it travels with the file.
- What happens to a page that is already rotated?
- The turn is added to the rotation the page already carries. A page stored at 90° that you turn another 90° ends up at 180°, which is what you would expect from pressing rotate twice.
- Does rotating re-compress the pages or lose quality?
- No. Rotation is a single attribute on each page — the images and text inside are copied through untouched, so there is no quality loss and the file size barely changes.
- Can I rotate different pages by different amounts?
- Yes, in passes. Rotate one range, download the result, then drop that file back in and rotate a different range by a different angle.
